I have been considering trying this with a Pilsner malt as the base and using Citra, Amarillo and Sabro.
Thoughts or experiences with something similar?

Me as well. I was in there earlier today.
We usually go in Friday nights. About every other week for a couple beers and ingredients for a batch or two.
We didn’t make it this week. Too busy. Im planning to stop in after work on Tuesday and do a night brew. 🍻

I've used 029 for many hoppy styles ( amber, APA etc ) and it is quite clean and lets hops shine. It was my house yeast for a while. Great yeast. Ironically i didn't think it was good for kolsh. Too clean
