I went to bottle my Octoberfest tonight and decided to take a sip. It had taste but seemed more watered down than it should have been. I'm a new brewer and this is my third batch. Is this normal? I went ahead and primed/bottled anyway.
Watery beer taste out of primary.

How about a recipe? OG, FG, Top off water or not, AG or extract? Process, lots of missing info not to mention the fact you are tasting an unconditioned, not carbonated beer. Give us a clue and we can help you figure out whether it's normal or something went wrong.

mine is the same way, but im reserving judgment until it is been in the bottles for at least 3 weeks, this is my first batch also taste great numbers were good, just seemed a little thin, but i think it will get better after it conditions in the bottle for a few weeks, This is just the info that has been given to me

That's all the info I need to hear, wait until the beer's carbed up and then begin judging the flavors. Flat beer always tastes 'water-y', IMO.
