Waterproofness of this PT100

I can use this PT100 sensor in a RIMS tube right?

By which I mean, it won't short out or leak wort everywhere.

Well, it says Quality, so you know it's good.

All kidding aside, consider you will need a custom fitting to mount this with its M6 thread. Also, its short so you will need to ensure it's tip ends in the liquid path. Finally, they seem confused because PT100 and k type thermocouple are not the same animal. I believe it's PT100 given the three wires, but caveat emptor as $3.79 guarantees you nothing.

That's doesn't have a sensor in it. Also, without knowing your RIMS tube, we can't assess how they will work together. I suggest you go with "known" components many users here have had success with. The few bucks extra will be worth avoiding the pain of trial and error.
