Here is my well water report. I plugged it into some software and it recommended 1/2 to 1 tsp per 5 gallons of calcium chloride and magnesium sulfate. Not sure if this affects my efficiency by way of mash pH or just the style and flavor 🤔

Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate reduce your mash pH. They will also affect flavor and mouthfeel. They can affect mash efficiency if they move the mash pH into (or out of) the ideal range.

There isn't a single recommendation for water additions. Those additions are dependent upon the type of beer you're brewing. I suggest that you read the Water Knowledge page on the Bru'n Water website to start learning why you'll need to tailor your water to the style at hand.

That water report is pretty good for brewing, but you will need to address the slightly high alkalinity and recognize that the sodium content is getting near the upper end that I'd prefer (means: don't add more sodium).
