Hi, looking for a water pump for pumping spathe water, I do 20l batches so doesn't need to be that big, any advice?

Going for a fly sparge then? 5 Gallon batches. Looks like most use a March or Chugger pump. I am actually considering one myself. Whatever you do you want to make sure it is a high temp food safe pump.

6.8 L/m. I just bought this. It is tiny and cheap but is also food grade and 100c. I have only tested it at this point but worked well for recirc. It was powerful enough to get a decent whirlpool in 5gal. The chugger and march just seem redic for what is needed.

I bought a march 815 pump from more beer and couldnt be happier. Ive brewed in hot a.. summers and 8° winters without fail. Its 150 but to me well worth it.

Maybe those marine pumps wouldn't be good for hot water. I was thinking chilling, which is how I use mine.

If you want to move water up to 100F these are very nice,

MAG Drives 3 and larger
they are pond pumps / aquarium

not hugely efficient but reliable

Now reliable for Hot liquids I would say Chugger or the new Steelhead from Northern look interesting

Need to get a dedicated pump for filtration once I get serious
