I know that people don't really wash/reuse dry yeast because it isn't worth it to save the money. I was wondering, however, if it is possible. I would like to practice on the cheap dry yeast before I give it a shot with the liquid. Thanks
 
Yeah, you can do it. Everything is exactly the same as you would with liquid yeast. As you said, the only reason most people don't do it is because dry is way cheaper than liquid.
