I'm currently using a Kegerator with Cornelius kegs, so all my kegs are kept cold from carbonation and onwards. I was wondering if there is any significant decrease in quality by changing over to a normal tap system where the kegs are stored normally (room temp) and it runs through a cooler?

(Besides carbonating levels and time obviously)

Cellaring temps are one thing but I wouldn’t advise room temp. Cold storage maintains quality and shelf life, Especially hoppy beers. They will degrade quickly if not stored cold.

At room temp ...definitely not ideal..I also think it depends on what type of beer your talking about...anything highly hopped I would say definitely no...for a darker beer age does help ...but I don't think room temp is the best range for them to sit at...50-60 range is a bit more ideal for storage of darker or stronger ales if aging

Since when is this normal?
