When I received my Ward Lab's report, it had five readings that reported "< 1". They further defined the "<" as "Not Detected / Below Detection Limit". The readings are:

Potassium, K < 1 ppm
Magnesium, Mg < 1 ppm
Sulfate, SO4-S < 1 ppm
Carbonate, CO3 < 1.0 ppm
Total Iron, Fe < 0.01 ppm

In the past, I entered the above data into my water profile as "1" on everything except SO4. I entered "3" for SO4.

Is this correct? Or should I enter "0" or some other number for these values in my water profile?

I get the same with my very soft water, and I've done 1, I've done 0.5, and I've done 0.

It really doesn't make a lot of difference, using 4 or 5 different models.

Thanks @balrog. I guess I will keep the values at "1" and "3" as what I had initially entered.

Yes, I have a water softener. However, I have two RO systems installed (different sides of house) after the water softener. The water report is from the RO water.

Ah, RO system. Mine is almost the same, but w/o any RO system. Drawn from the bottom of a reservoir, and deemed by the water dept as "very soft". Great for light beers I suppose, but easy to adjust (such as with MME).
