Wanted: CO2 Cylinder

Hi folks,

Getting back into brewing after an extended hiatus and I'm cobbling my gear back together. I've been carbonating and pushing my beer with a bunch of old paintball CO2 tanks that I had laying around, but now I'm ready to upgrade the gas system, starting with a big boy tank.

Anybody got any used 5# or larger tanks lying around they'd be willing to part with (for a nominal fee of course)?

If you are not adverse to a tall skinny tank do a search for a 7lb tank. They typically run around $40 and the only downside is that they won't fit in a keggerator.

That might actually work for me. I converted a fridge in my garage to a kegerator with taps thru the door. Website says it 29" tall. I'll have to measure if it will fit or not.

That #7 is a good deal, tanks aren't cheap. I don't think you'll get any takers for nominal fee tanks, but you might be able to find a score on craigslist.
