Hello,

I want to brew some batches of beer, I have never brewed before. I have brewed Pale Ales and Black IPAs, but not without dry hopping, which is what I am planning to do next year. The rest, are beers I have not tried brewing with little hops and an english yeast.

ESB: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/561196/02-esb
Red: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/561172/03-red
Brown: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/561179/04-brown
Pale Ale: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/570442/01-pale-ale-nd
Black IPA/Hoppy Porter: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/561175/05-black-ipa-nd

I know some grainbills might seem muddled judging from a " general " point of view and brewing, but I am actually trying to establish if they would work and produce the beer styles I am after. I know maybe the ESB has a more crystal than many would not use, but would it be bad?

Will a NON dry hopped beer be really bad compared to a dry hopped counterpart?

Thank you for taking your time to read and comment.

Happy Holidays!

The Pale Ale hopping schedule is kinda long, but only because I am planning on brewing it without adding any dry hops, hence I am trying to get as much hops flavours in the wort, as I possibly can ( within financial limits :D ).

I never made an ESB, but tasted plenty. I like classic, dry-ish ESBs, but I also have a thing for a more malty forward bitter.
