I bought a kit from my LHBS for a "German Dark" beer along with 2 extra pounds of wheat.
The kit has:
3.3 # amber extract
3# DME
.75# Carmel-40
.25#Choc Malt
.25# Black Patent
and Hollertau Hops (3 oz)

All that business plus my 2 extra pounds of wheat should do the trick, but I want something fancy, especially if I am going to call this beer my own ( I mean, Hammersmith Dunkel doesnt have NEARLY the ring to it as Von Runkel's Drunkel).
I have been looking through a whole butt ton of posts trying to figure out what my extra Fancy should be, but I can't quite put my finger on what I want.
I have been entertaining the idea of Blood oranges, but I did an orange Hefe as my last brew (A Gentleman's Mohawk), and I was looking to avoid a repeat in Fancy, If that makes sense. I also saw a pomegranite Hefe that sparked some curiosity...

So please, any suggestions based on flights of fancy or experience are welcome.
Thanks
Dave

No ideas? Drats. Tonight is brew night (assuming I get my programming homework done), so I have a while before I need to decide need what to put into the secondary. I was thinking raspberries or blueberries might be awesome.
I guess we shall see.

I like where your head is at. Unfortunately I have no idea where to get the nibs,or how to use them, and I just used the last or my vanilla beans to make vanilla extract. I suppose I could use extract, but I hear that is a dangerous game. Too much and your beer tastes like a vanilla bean... What do you think about a chocolate raspberry? assuming I figure out where to get and how to use the nibs...

Brewed this today. O.G. 1.062 @ 70*...
I will definitely look for those cocoa nibs on line, if I can't figure it out I will settle for a raspberry wheat. Either way I am anticipating deliciousness.
