How much longer do I need to boil if I ended up with 8 gallons of wort when I was to hit 7.5 gallons?

How much water do you boil off in one hour is my other question?

Times like this are good for having a stick marked with gallon increments for your kettle.
Or just eyeball it. Boiloff is different for each system, but I'm sure someone has a decent ballpark number. I sure don't

Depends on the exact vessel you're boiling in, since there would be differing surface areas in contact with the heat for evaporation to take place. What are you using? My 7.5 gal turkey fryer has an evaporation rate of 11%/hour.

Thanks...I have a stick with gallons marked. This is how I knew I was .5 gallons off. I will increase my boil time by 30 mins.

If you know what volume you started with and how long you boiled to get the 8 gallons then you answered you're own question.
