Hi everybody !
I made a ultra fast, 5 minutes, grain to carboy, one hand, video of a brewday with my HERMS system!

Thanks!

Very interesting sparge "arm" setup. Looks like it works very well.
I had to rewind when you put the carageen (sp) into the boil. I only caught a glimpse of the text and thought you tossed campden in there.

So you take some of your chilled wort and stick it on a stir plate to temper your yeast or were you making a starter for next time?

The yeast in chilled wort on a stir plate was an experiment to avoid wort aeration. I pitched the yeast after 5 hours on the plate.
There is a risk of contamination as the wort stays without yeast for hours. Also this is not the proper way to re-hydrate the yeast !
Nevertheless it worked fine and my FG was as expected. No conclusions yet, I don't recommend this method.

Thanks everybody!

One more video close to the mash tun (Warning !!! Boring Video !!! )....
I'm thinking on putting the GoPro INSIDE the fermenting wort for the next video :cross: !!!
