I think its funny that I'm trying to clone something I've never tasted -this stuff. And at $200+ I never will - we're into 1st growth bordeaux territory here people, there's no way its that good - much rather have a proven '98 Lafite. My .02

Waste of money IMO, I would take a good belgian over that any day of the week. Im sorry but I have yet to taste a Sam Adams beer that I find good, so I would be hard pressed to spend 200 bucks on one of there products.

Just because something is expensive does not make it good.

That guy is an idiot, the only way that he is going to get that much for that bottle of beer is to wait until the summer of 2012 when everyone is scrambling to get their hands on the older bottles. i mean the other beer that was posted and sold that was something like 115 years old, didn't sell for much more than that.

I still think you're right, that's a little steep. But $500K, now that's ridiculus! Woopti-do what are you going to do with an old bottle of beer? Some of us are collecters, but I prefer to enjoy my beer!
