I am planning to make an immersion chiller in the near future, but I am not certain what kind of copper I need. I have read elsewhere in these forums about L, M, and AC type copper, but the one I found that interests me is listed as utility type. I like it because it has a temp range of 32-350 deg F. If it helps, it is this one:

The only negative review was because it was too thin for his purpose, which should be a good thing for an IC, I assume. Any advice? Thanks!

I am contemplating the 1/2" as well. I would like 25' but they don't seem to sell that length. I have a 7.5 gallon kettle so I think 50' would be overkill for me?
