What kind of results can I expect if I use:
1.7 kg Coopers Real Ale
250 ml maple syrup
Aiming for about 20 L.
I'd love to add malt or hops, but it's my last Coopers can and I can bottle this hypothetical brew right before I go away for 2 months.
I find the real ale is actually okay if I use a cup of table sugar and I let it age for long enough, but I'd like to see what happens if I sub in maple syrup.
Will 250 ml be enough? I'm having a hard time getting answers from the online brewing calculators. I usually shoot for a 3-4% beer.
