In repairing two small holes in my wort chiller I used lead free solder to slip a copper jacket over the holes. This is the lead free solder that came with my propane torch and flux kit. Was using this type of lead free solder ok for repairing and building wort chillers? I am assuming it would be ok for beer since it is ok for water but I want to be sure.

Thanks

Mistake in the title. I used the lead free solder but I don't know if I need to do any type of treatment with vinegar prior to first use.

I missed typing in the lead "free" part in the title. My 2 your daughter was on my lap wanting attention. Do you use any kind of a vinegar boil on this prior to using it in your beer?
