Okay, long story short I got a food saver mason jar adapter to use with my ziplock hand pump, because I found the ziploc bags didn't always hold the seal I wanted. But it's a pain in the but using the hand pump while hand clamping it to the fop of the foods aver adapter.

I also have a 10 month old at home and a breastpump that is no longer being used.

I put two and two together. I just had to use some electrical tape to increase the od of the vacuum tube to fit the adapter. I cranked the pump up to full power and it worked great.

Ah hell naw. Gonna use it to vacuum seal my hops, partial yeast packets, leftover malt, and whatever else I want for storage. It hasn't been used for breastmilk production in a long time.

I think I'll throw some marshmallows in a mason jar before turning on the pump for my five year old to watch. He should enjoy that.

Heck! I'd enjoy that...Make a video and I'll click "Like"!

Tell you what. I'll make that video for you, plus it should be a good indicator of the strength and speed of the vacuum. Not that I really need a reason for it other than "Neat!"

Do it but please include a gratuitous breast shot to stay on subject.:p

The results were not impressive. The marshmallow growth left much to be desired. I just couldn't pull enough vacuum. Too bummed about it to take a video.

You can still go microwave some marshmallows and watch that. That should do in place of vacuum mallows
