Working on my brewery concept a little still... Currently my "Automation" uses pids and timers from auberins along with way too many latching relays. The system must have 40 relays in all in it, and the "logic" is derived from all the latching and unlatching of these relays, BUT they get hung up 10% of the time and I have to "power down" the system and start it back up. Weird dealing with relays... So I was going to scrap all these relays and try using a Click PLC from automation direct. I'm needing a ton of help.

I'd like to use auberins PIDs and timers together with automation direct "Click" plc computing. I just want to use the Click PLC as an organizer for relay switching.

Example.
1. Select "Power on" button on Control Panel
a. Select "Operate Hot Water Tank" button on Control Panel
i. HLT PID turns On.
ii. Timer turns On.
iii Indicator Light for HLT heating element lights up
iv. Indicator Light for HLT circulating pump lights up
v. Water Indicator Light lights up when HLT float "senses" water

1. Select "Power on" button on Control Panel
a. Select "Operate Mash & Heat Sparge Water" button on Control Panel
i. HLT PID and MT PID turn on (MT PID for observing MT temp only)
ii. Timer/stopwatch turns On (set for 60 minute mash)
iii Indicator Light for MT circulating pump lights up
iv. Indicator Light for HLT circulating pump lights up
v. HLT float becomes active in HLT.
vi. Water Indicator Light lights up when HLT float "senses" water
Vii. Indicator Light for heating element lights up

I'll have to edit this post later, cheers.
