I was going to do my first decociton mash today on a bohemian pilsner, but instead I used 8 lb best malts pils, and .25 each of crystal 60 and aromatic to approximate a decoction mash. What do you think, will it work? I have the mash in at 147, and plan to use 1 oz cluster at 60, 1 oz of saaz at 10 and FO. Maybe dry hop with another oz of saaz if I an get some later.
