Used keg sanitation

So I just received a used corny and was cleaning the posts when I happen to notice a few little crevices or chips in the interior. They are chips or small voids in the inner wall of the posts about the size of a ball point pen head or two.

Have y'all noticed these in your posts before? Can they harbor contaminating bacteria? Or should I just not worry about it? I figure I'll throw them in the pressure cooker or oven to sterilize at least this once...

I wouldn't be overly concerned, as kegs are typically kept cold with finished beer, both of which keep potential infection at bay...

Give them a good clean and they should be good to go
