Hello. Im working on building my first keezer based on the input and designs from many in this forum.
I purchased a 5.1CF Kenmore from craigslist for $80 and will soon be building a collar for it.

My big question is will I have to worry about beer freezing in my taps if this thing stays in the garage thru the winter?

Not sure if the wife will let me bring this inside.

It is attached but no heat - walls are insulated but ceiling and garage doors are not.

I’m on Eastern Long Island and occasionally it gets in the single digit’s in winter, and have had pipes (PEX thankfully) freezing the home walls. Generally speaking, you tend to have colder temps by you. Perhaps you could run some heat tape over your faucets. The kegs shouldn’t freeze and the interior lines might not, but those faucets are at risk.

My attached garage in Syracuse hardly ever gets below freezing. There's no heat and the walls and door are not insulated, Although there is a bedroom above the garage which provides some heat and insulation.

Does the snow generally melt off your car in the winter and leave puddles on the garage floor? If it does, you'll probably be fine. In the occasional cold snap, the taps might freeze, but I wouldn't worry too much. The upside of all the snow here is that it doesn't get that cold (not like Milwaukee, where I used to live)!
