I built a kegerator out of a mini-fridge I found on Craigslist. Everything went basically fine. I have a beer tower on my bar and a length of PVC pipe connecting the top of the fridge to the bottom of the bar and everything.
Anyway, when I was building it I decided that a single tap kegerator would be sufficient. Now, I'm having second thoughts. I want to add a second keg, and the minifridge should be able to fit one if I relocate the thermostat. But I need to do this on the cheap so as to not piss off the significant other, and I don't want to throw away stuff I just bought.
I think some kind of Y-splitter can split the CO2 line out to two kegs, which should be very cheap, but will require both kegs to be at the same pressure. This is probably okay; at least I don't need to replace the (expensive) regulator. But what do I do about the tower? It's already bolted into the wooden bar, and even if it wasn't, buying a whole new tower after I just bought this one a few months ago would be expensive. Is there a way to just add another tap to the tower?
