I cobbled my brew kit together out of left over and scrounged bits.

It's proved that it works and that I can use it. There are a few changes and upgrades I want to make. I'd appreciate it if any of you guys can take a look over it and let me know how you think it can be improved or if you can see any faults with it.

If it aint broke, don't fix it. I mean you can always spend the money to upgrade everything, but do you really need to? If you are happy with your beer, then brew on!

Actually Im interested in your corny keg tap. Did you just drill through the plastic and mount the tap directly to it?

Looks good, if the beer's tasty why worry? You ever see Charlie Papazian's setup? Nothing fancy at all. Too bad about the low-BTU burner; how long does it take to get a boil going?

Looks pretty good to me. Like the others said, if you like the beer, don't worry about it. I like the electric HLT. When I go AG, I may try to go that route. Seems like it would be easier to control the heat. How long does it take to heat water to normal mash temp?

I think it's time for MORE toys, not "better" ones. I didn't see a grain mill in your inventory, nor a fermentation cooler.... check out some of Yuri's posts, he's a beast in this regard.

Or, if you MUST improve upon what's currently working for you, stainless conicals are uber-sexy.
