Like an idiot I tried a Russian imperial stout as my first extract brew. Since then I have learned quite a bit from reading on this forum. The OG was 1.083 and we pitched one wyeast Scottish ale. 3 weeks later the FG was 1.027. Not knowing any better I bottled with 5 oz priming sugar and 5 weeks later there is zero carbonation. How do I handle this? Drink it flat and sweet? Wait it out at a higher temp(has been at 70), or sprinkle more yeast in each bottle and recap? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Rouse the yeast in the bottles by turning them upside down and very gently shaking them. Do this every day or two for a couple of weeks, if you still have viable yeast they'll carb up. I've had this happen a couple of times with bigger beers especially, where they need the assistance to pick up.
