What size CO2 cartridges are you talking about and where are you getting them now? And how much?

You can get them from their website (16g cartridges... but they’re super expensive. I’m wondering if anyone knows where to get more for a cheaper price that will fit the keg.

Wow....glad i got the double 64s. I was going to point you to Amazon because thats where I get my co2 for dispensing. Ends up being aobut $0.50/cartridge. Just looked up the 16g ones and they are outrageous!

Also I second the ball lock cap if your carbing small batches. No sense in burning through those little cartridges at that cost.

Would I have to get some special mini regulator for the ball lock cap? I know the max pressure is 20psi. Any suggestions on some good ones?

I use the ball lock cap for carbing small test batches then switch to the co2 cartridges to dispense. While carbing I just use my normal regulator(for 5 gal cornies). I dont have any experience with the smaller regulators so I cant chime in there.

Ive seen the small regulators at Adventures in Homebrewing though, they have some for those cartridges i think as well as the standard paintball co2 tank.

My set-up is: Paintball tank -> Adapter -> Standard Co2 regulator -> ball lock cap

They do make paintball regulators for brewing though, so you can look into those as well. They are MUCH smaller, less precise, but as I understand it they do the job well enough.
