I got off from work early on Friday and decided to brew a 10 gallon batch of Worts' Pale Ale.
I drank some homebrew during the mash.
Drank even more homebrew during the boil.
Then swmbo, who happens to be pregnant, wanted to go out to dinner. Which means I have a DD. When the boil was done I put a lid on my boil kettle and out the door I went.
Drank more beer.
When I got home my temps were right and so I grabbed my primary buckets, pitched my yeast and called it a night. I wake up Saturday morning with a sick feeling and it's not just from over serving myself...
I forgot to sanitize my fermentation vessels! WTF!!! Now I wait to see if I ruined 10g of quality brew.
