Two Pot Full Boil: Irish Moss Question

The only way I can do a full boil is to do two pots. I bought irish moss tablets, and on my last brew I added one to each pot. Do I need to add one to each pot, or will putting a tab in just one pot give me the same effect?

I understand that Irish moss starts working in the boil pot, collecting the proteins until they begin to drop out, so i would think you would want to add it to both pots.

I had thought about this but thought that I might distroy the tablet in the process. I'll give it a try next time.

Cut it on a paper towel. It doesn't matter if it crumbles a bit.

I had the same issue when I first started. Buying the Irish Moss in it's "natural" form works well if you don't want to mess with cutting pills
