Hello. I am new to the site and new to kegging.

I am taking up homebrewing again after a layoff and want to keg. I have seen the double regulators that allow for different PSI in two different kegs. Is there a good reason to buy this or is a single regulator with a two way manifold ok for two kegs?

I know nothing about kegging but am about to purchase a set up and then figure it out. Thanks for any help or tips!

Depends. If you brew beers that all have the same carbonation levels and taste fine to you, then just get a single regulator. If you want to be true to style and brew a variety of styles (like a high volume belgian and a regular english bitter) at the same time, then dual regulators are good.
Personally, if you can afford the dual, buy it in case later it becomes important so you don't have to buy more parts later.

I have a double regulator and love it. I plan to do pop which requires different PSI. I say, if you go the better route, you won't be disappointed, but you could always upgrade if you know how to take apart, and put back together a regulator. If you do that, use tape over the threads. Also, when you pick your faucets, go ahead with perlick, they last over a break from drinking out of that tap more than 1 day.
