I recently bought a second keg and a dual regulator and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to hook them up. I want to keep my gas and regulator outside of the Kegco kegerator but want to be able to pressurize two kegs at different pressures. I emailed Kegco for a diagram or some advice on where I could drill another hole and the reply was not to do it because it would void the warranty. There is already a single hole in the back for a single gas line that is about 3/4" in diameter. I could probably get two small CO2 lines through this hole if I can find 3/8" or smaller ones suitable for the gas. They don't have to have a large ID because I don't think the flow needs to be high and the max pressure will probably be no higher than 30 PSI.
I may end up having to put everything inside but I'm hoping that someone on the forum has solved this problem and can share the information.
So far I have brewed about 10 mostly 5 gallon IPAs and had to dump only one. I ended up accidentally siphoning beer line cleaner into the keg and didn't know it until the first glass after it was carbonated. Live and learn.
Thanks for any advice you can share.

Your idea of running a pair of slim gas lines through the existing hole has merit and is the way I'd go.

If you were to use EVAbarrier tubing in either the 4mm ID or the 5mm ID, both share an 8mm OD - which is equivalent to 5/16".
A pair of those would fit through the existing hole with plenty of room to spare...

fwiw, I converted all of the beverage and gas tubing in my shop to EVAbarrier, using the 4mm ID for beer and 5mm for gas. Love the stuff - push-to-connect fittings from Duotight, John Guest and DMfit work great with it and make everything easy to install and even re-configure if desired...

Cheers!

Thanks for this idea! I have a similar kegerator with a single hole that fits one traditional gas line. I bought a dual regulator when I bought my regulator and have not used 2 different pressures because of the single hole. I've already converted my liquid lines to EVAbarrier with Duotight fittings, and I'd like to do the same with my gas lines. I had not thought of fitting two smaller lines through the gas line hole.

I have a KegCo kegerator as well. I had to drill the only line I have for CO2 lines. I would totally drill another one if I had to. Not super sketchy, just take your time an don't hurry anything.

Check out post #32 HERE on a quick little explanation on what I did.

You could also try a splitter inside and run a single secondary regulator off that. It wouldn't take much room. You'd use the secondary regulator for the lower pressure.

Not as good as the two lines, but an option.

This actually gives me the idea to drill out my existing co2 line hole. I can only fit 1 line . I have a 4 valve secondary regulator I would prefer to have outside since I have no room inside. Think once my kegs kick i will make that hole bigger to fit 4 lines.

I just did this to be able to carb my wife's sparkling water and my beer at 2 different psi's without having to use 2 tanks(one inside the keezer), which I was previously doing. It wasn't hard at all to integrate into my current keezer and saved a ton of space. Just had to use several Y splitters to branch off lines and I ended up using the inexpensive secondary regulator below to save $$. I added a cheap psi gauge in-line too so I could see the psi that regulator was set at, but you can also monitor the keg psi with a spunding valve. Or get one of more expensive secondary regulators that has the psi gauge built in.

Thank you Day trippr! I just ordered everything (I hope) that you recommended and I'll let you know how it works out.

I replaced my one large gas line that was teed inside the kegerator with 2 separate EVABarrier lines tonight. Both easily fit through the 0.60 inch hole in my kegerator
