I'm trying to use the following diagram from Kabouter's sidebyside thread to convert my chest freezer into a ferm chamber, but the heater I bought doesn't have a ground? What changes would I need to make?
If the heater doesn't have a ground terminal or wire, it can't be grounded. But, you still need to maintain the ground between the plug and fridge. Chances are the ground will never come into play, but it could save your life or prevent a fire if a short should occur.
