So I just got started on my 2nd batch, a Coffee Porter. I steeped my grains, turn to grab my hops to boil, and my dog has torn the bag and spread hops all throughout the garage.

I haven't added any malt extract, and obviously I haven't added any hops yet. Can I store the boil for a couple days and continue when I get new hops in or is too risky? I figured since I will boil for an hour that it will kill any bacteria that may have made its way in there. I'm worried about it going stale. Can I refrigerate it to keep it preserved?

Your dog didn't eat the hops did he? Hops are known to cause hyperthermia in dogs and can kill them.

As to your original question, it's certainly possible, though there is the obvious infection risk. Also, reboiling wort for the hop additions may cause changes in the flavor, but it seems theoretically doable.

Personally, I would just save the Malt Extract and try again another day with new hops and new steeping grains.

Also, welcome to the forum, from a fellow New Braunfelser.

Your hops will be fine, check your dog. I have seen a number of threads on here talking about hops being toxic to dogs, potential in a fatal kind of way. If you think he ate any of them or starts to look ill you should get him to a vet.

I watched her do it, and didn't see her eat anything. I just saw her rip the bag open and toss it around, but I am keeping my eye on her. Thank y'all for your concern. I probably should of added that in my initial post, I promise I'm not a terrible dog owner.
