I have a 55 gallon setup that I already had a 1.5" tri clover fitting welded near the top as an inlet. Any advice on what the best way to recirculate through this fitting without splashing? Actually I have one installed on all 3 vessels, just trying to determine the best way to get it all plumbed. I see alot of npt solutions with elbows and tubing, but I dont see many tri clamp options. I'm not completely averse to threads if thats the best way to do it, but the inlet is already welded so I'm not looking to drill another hole and reweld.

Thanks!

I guess I was overthinking it. I was planning to use that exact setup for a pickup tube on the bottom of the vessel, but for some reason it didn't occur to me to use a pickup tube for the input. I guess I could just add an appropriate sized piece of tubing to the dip tube and get the fluid in without splashing. Thanks!
