Yesterday after kegging an Imperial IPA I was cleaning up the drips from the previous keg and pulled the co2 tank and regulator off the hump in my refrigerator. It bent the low pressure gauge and now it the needle does not move. \

Now I have no idea what pressure I have in 2 kegs. But, after pouring a beer that foams too much and waiting for the head to subside a little it tastes great. I hope that while enjoying my 3rd pint of Ebony IPA, I can get through my first lager without a major mishap.

I have a splitter, gas connect assembly, liquid connect assembly, and a new gauge on order as of this morning. For the time being 3 kegs with picnic taps in my basement fridge.

Well, you've already ordered a replacement, but you can fix that gauge.

Any lens/shield, (what ever it's called), that I've seen can either be pried off or unscrewed. Then using a small screw driver you can push the gauge plate back away from the indicator needle. It'll look a little rough but still work fine.

Just 2 days ago I noticed one of my low pressure gauges was bent and blocking needle movement and did this.

The thing that gets me is how the hell did it get bent? I never dropped or banged it. It has never even been touched since the install months ago. I guess I gotta hunt down a gremlin!!! lol

I'll give this a try but since I needed the other stuff anyway I will put the new gauge on then try to fix the broken one for a backup. I have been adding some pressure to the keg then turning off the valve. It has worked out fairly well so far. 1 more day.
