Ah okay, wasn't sure how new this was. Does the beer still taste good because the can of green I had ~6 weeks ago was kinda bad. Not like generally bad, but bad compared to what Green is supposed to be...

Had Green & Eureka w/Citra yesterday from last weeks canning. Both were firing on all cylinders. Green was staight pineapple juice and Eureka was as citrusy and crushable as ever

I had Green, Julius, Bright, Lights On, and Sap ~6 weeks ago. Bright was amazing. Lights On and Sap were fine. Didn't like Julius, but I generally don't really like Julius, so not surprising there and doesn't necessarily mean there was a quality drop off. Green wasn't Green. Heard some chatter from people that the core beer quality was generally way down, but no first hand evidence besides the above.

I haven't had any Treehouse recently, so I can't comment on current quality. Although I do distinctly remember a batch or two of canned Green from when they were just using stickers where I couldn't even finish the cans. I've had good Green since, but TH definitely isn't immune to some pretty strong variances in quality.

Still drinking Green I picked up late Dec. and it's holding up and tasting fine. Can't really comment if quality has dropped, but still great IMO.

Seems like there is one off Batch of every core beer so far, not sure if they are experimenting different things scaling up, or if it’s just more obvious because more people are getting cans. Even the off batches are still good, just not worth the effort.

It's slowly starting to feel like Canton. They are not even brewing at full capacity yet. Can't wait.

Work has brought me out to Eastern MA last week, and this week. I stopped at Charlton last week, and this week.

What a really enjoyable experience both times. wMinimal beer purchased to go, and some great draft options for all palates.

Are we through the looking glass people?

This probably means more one-offs to bring all the boys to the yard

So wait, if I go on a Saturday for opening, am I likely to get cans AND draft pours now? I'm trying to convince the gf to take a day trip up and if that's the case, it may be possible.

YMMV depends on whether everything sells out on Friday. Last Saturday, one of my good friends went, waited for 40 minutes in line and walked away with a solid amount of cans and was also able to enjoy an onsite pour.

I'm pretty sure they update Friday night with case count remaining for Saturday. I would still shoot to get there early (pre-opening probably) but I think you should be good on most Saturdays.

Thanks for the help. I'm making the trip up tomorrow with the gf and others, plus our dog. Which leads to my next question...

I'm pretty sure we should be fine eating at whatever food truck is going to be at TH tomorrow, but I was wondering if anybody could suggest a backup option nearby that is somehow dog friendly. I'm not one of these ******** that thinks I should be entitled to take my dog with me everywhere I go (though I would like to, and she's pretty small), but if she's gonna be with us, I'd hate to have to leave her in the car for an extended period of time while we eat. Any help is much appreciated.
