I know very little about krausen but I read on one thread that it acts as a 'natural filter' that helps proteins and yeast settle? So when the krausen starts to settle would transferring it from my blow-off back to my fermenter benefit my wort/beer in any way?

I currently have 22 litres of wort and 11 litres of krausen (9ltr in fermenter, 2ltr in blow-off)

I should also denote that it looks nice and clear, no green or brown gunk.

I'm not sure if it would benefit the beer, never have read anything about this, but I'm sure it would risk your chance of infecting the beer in the fermentor.

I toss the blown off krausen. Not much of a benefit vs risk of infection from it sitting in the blow off container.
