Soooo about a year and a half ago I moved into a new house with a 2 car garage, over the last few months I’ve built a new brewery, it’s not quite done but it’s sooo effing close!! Here are some pics of where I’m at.

Do you have a nearby sink, or plans to add one?

@Tom R i do not have a sink yet but I do have plans to add one, for now I can clean stuff in the driveway. I was also thinking of some sort of Mobil sink with a hose quick disconnect.

My sink is opposite the laundry room, so I could utilize the utility sink plumbing.
It is so nice not to have to lug equipment around the house to clean it.
I can see how a mobile sink would help, too. It could just drain into a bucket.

@NewJersey its old school because those cabinets came out of the kitchen from when the house was built in the 80’s! I just couldn’t throw them out and being able to repurpose them was a nice feeling, I think I’ll paint them at some point but function is what I was going for.

My last house was built in ~1840.

Nice that you have the space for a dedicated setup. I looks like you are making good use of it.
I'm sure you'll continue to fine-tune as you complete some more batches.

Nothing wrong with that! I think I’ve got 4 different types of floor/wall cabinets in my garage. Some from our old kitchen, the bathroom, my parents house, some we bought from HD and one or two from IKEA. Oh..that’s 5. Reduce/Reuse!!

This is probably one of the newest houses I’ve lived in most were at least 100 years old and the house I moved from was a converted one room school house that was built in 1860.

Thanks! I built that about 8 years ago and I love it, so simple and the only lifting is to move the mash tun to empty it at the end of a brew day, might put a pulley system over the top to bring it down.
