I have confirmed that the rumor that FedEx doesn't adjust weights on shipments is pure urban legend. While they don't update the weight when you look at the tracking info, they most certainly reflect the correct weight (rounded up to the next highest pound - so if it weights 10.01 you will pay for 11) on the bill. I figured that was the case but had to try.

I always go up a pound on beer trade boxes. Don't want any reason for them to look at it, just get it where I want it to go.

I always round up since I know they will. Had some issues once and when I called support, their suggestion was to avoid any special characters so I never put dots or dashes in anything.
