I have a pending trade with another solid member here for one, just waiting on a homebrew I have to get right and bottle it up. I wouldn't mind another or 2. The ****s is, a few days ago I was literally thinking about sending Mikey a BIF surprise for being a killer past trader...and told another member or 2 I was gonna do it, but now after that pic would look like a butter up/hook me up box.

As for pm's, i'm as surprised as anyone to say zero. I actually contemplated not buying them all. It was brief, but the thought crossed my mind. I just wanted them all to stay together, like a family .

I'll be at Cantillon in about 6weeks, and packing light going there, heavy home. I have some stuff set aside for you regardless (actually mostly packed up, was just waiting to keg and bottle a couple), but can get some loons in there if you wanna wait a bit

Holy cow. This is why I love HBT. So many solid traders have jumped in and everyone is like "oh, no, please, after YOU."

Jon already hooked me up with the Big Box of Yum and Skeezer has definitely hooked it up past trades. Mike's trades are over the top.

I think they must not have known. I've actually never been to the store I got them at. I saw them and asked the girl if there was a limit. When she said no, i said "gimme a box, i might take em all". Then she said she had to call her boss and see if it was ok to sell them all at once. Well, we know his answer. I was actually shaking when i brought them to the counter. I felt like i was doing something wrong lol.

Hit me up with a pm about what midwest shelft turds you have, this way its easier for me to look back at. This thread moves pretty quick.

i wish i came across another 12. I actually need to go back, in all the excitement, i forgot to grab the bcbbw. I'm afraid that the girl will see me come back and a bunch of guys with pitch forks and torches will come out of a back room and demand the case back.

I'll definitely try to spread the love around. 12 bottles looks nice in a pic but really isn't much. Maybe i'll just drink it all and when I wake up from the diabetic coma, i'll convince myself it was just a dream

i was actually really let down at first. It tasted just kinda normal, not even like bcbs. But i have a bad habit of over chilling stuff, and this was one of those times. Once it sat for a bit and warmed up , the vanilla really came out and put it in another realm. I've noticed that big beers like this and the big Bruery beers like gm, bt, cr and mw benefit from some time in the glass, or at least leaving them open. When i open a bomber of a huge beer, i try to take it down in two sittings, and the second half of the bottle always tastes better the next day. The vanilla rye was much smoother than regular, and even smoother than a '13 i had a couple nights ago. I'd love a prop to do a side by side, but I think the prop I had last year might have beat out the vanilla by a touch.

For real though. I do WANT them all, but would rather Mikey drink them all to the dome or let a lot of people try them if he wants to trade any. It may seem that I "hoard" a lot of beer, but I share pretty much all the good/rare ones and enjoy doing it. I don't know how many times I went to the cellar and passed on a bottle I really wanted to drink just because I didn't think it was right to not share it.

Blizzard, and others know what I mean....had a lot of good ones with you and Javier. Got a few ready to bring out to CO in a couple weeks also

...I don't know how many times I went to the cellar and passed on a bottle I really wanted to drink just because I didn't think it was right to not share it...

I feel the same way, it seems wrong to me to drink bombers by myself. I also collect special(er) bottles and can't bring myself to drink them alone, it just seems wrong.

So I break them out for special occasions to share with people that will appreciate what they are drinking.

I feel the same way, it seems wrong to me to drink bombers by myself. I also collect special(er) bottles and can't bring myself to drink them alone, it just seems wrong.

It's funny when I'm like "damnit, I don't have any beer to drink" and the swmbo says "didn't you buy 4 bottles today?" And I reply "yea, but those are for sharing"
