I'm glad it all made it safe. That small batch 8 is an English Barley Wine and the home brew is my Belgian Golden with Brett. Enjoy!

Nice! Which Brett strain did you use?

For the Brett, I threw in dregs from a Boulevard Saison-Brett and an Orval and a vial of WL Farmhouse Blend. I secondaried with peach purée, although it isn't really noticeable. At least not to me. There is a fruity character there, but it isn't peachy. It finished at 1.002 and is 8.8% ABV. Since it has been bottled, it has slowly been developing more and more bretty funk. The last one I had, was tasting much better than the first. So you can either drink it or let it sit longer.

Couple things missing due to trades and drinking...duh. Having a MM now and really glad I bought a bunch.

Niiiice. Age does most of those well, including that MM you're drinking. And I LOVE riserva.

This years Riserva is a little different than the last one. More fruit flavor but a little less sour. Got a 2012 to do a side by side but I love the new one just as much as the last. Looking forward to aging some of this stuff. Gonna try to save 4 or 5 Riserva to see how well they do over time. It's all solid stuff. Going back next month for Rhumpshaka, rum barrel aged imperial pumpkin. Psychd for that.
