So I came home for lunch today, to this sitting on my doorstep.

A gift/trade from gabe. Killer stuff I'm super excited. Definitely brightened my week bro. Your challenge was to drink it all in one night, I'm going to go ahead and fold to that challenge haha.

Taking the yeast straight to the lab, I should be able to get started on it this week.

Just one q with the oer dreggs, what is the solution they are in before I get started with that?

Thanks again gabe. Way above and beyond

Loving the Ninkasi swag!

Sorry man wish they wouldn't have played football with your package... here are the other pictures Malin had sent me guys :)

One bottle of Homebrewed 3726 saison and a local bomber of Frog hopped pale ale died on the trip. IMO the best ones made it there though :mug:

Looks like they drove the freaking truck over it

You may have got lucky. It looks like the package is wet from a broken beer. If thats the case, At least they delivered it :D

I can't believe it either. 34 oz. of beer spilled and three sides of the box had no integrity whatsoever. USPS was even nice enough to wrap it in plastic wrap AND tape the seams. Wondering if either of us will be receiving a letter from them cautioning us about shipping alcohol.

I've had them return beer to me because a bottle broke, I've also had them deliver broken beer (to Clint no less) I think it depends on the post office. Never received a letter about it. Plus the Gov. Is shut down what's the worst that could happen

Agreed I've received broken ones from both you and Gabe before and never got any trouble from USPS about it. They probably feel bad for breaking good beers :mug:

I also have received a wet beer stinky box from USPS. Can of heady exploded in route, they just put the box in a big plastic bag and delivered no problem.

Yup agree with all that. Back in the day I was in a forum group that traded 40's (40ozmaltliquor.com) had a couple break but always got delivered and no mention of shipping alcohol. It is technically a law on the books but they just don't seem to really care about it.

I still can't believe people trade malt liquor in 40's.

Lol I got up to about 60 or so different ones. I'd have to say my favorite was Private Stock. Couldn't get it so always had to trade for it. Usually 5 at a time. What can I say it was my beginnings onto the world of beer lol

A MAW hit from initybrew. After a bunch of unpacking I finally got to the goods. Awesome package! Cant wait to try them especially the home brew. What are they again? They were not labeled. Also I love the glass! A squaty snifter.. Awesome now I need to fill it lol

Im going to try the extras tomorrow and should I wait or try the w13 and the handfarm now?

One more thing. What is with the half eaten tic tacs? To fool the delivery man?

I'd suggest waiting at least 24 hrs before opening bottle conditioned beer that has been shipped and longer for wild beers.

A hint? ;D

He could smell my breath over messaging... dang i need a tic tac

Im planning to hold these two for a little while. Maybe next saturday. The others are just regular so tomorrow and this weekend will be enough to calm them down
