Tower of Power question

Not exactly an electric brewing question, but figured this section would probably be the best place to ask.

I've been using the Tower of Power to heat and maintain temps in my HLT for a while now. I've recently upgraded my HLT to one that has a 4" thermowell though. I'm afraid the short probe in the long thermowell isn't going to give me accurate readings even if it's packed full of thermal grease. I'd lveo to be able to continue to use the 4 wire QD cable standard to the Blichmann ToP. Any thoughts, advice?

The thermowell is 1/2 NPT, and 4" deep btw.

You might be able to find a threaded reducer to replace the thermowell. I wouldn't use it for the mash as the blichmann probe is so stubby but in the hlt it should work great.

That's an option I've considered, but I'd really like to find a new thermocouple/temp sensor that reaches the bottom of the thermowell, is 1/2" NT, and has the same 4 wire QD if I can.
