Hello all,
My name is Jason McCune and every year my work ( Corporate Aldi US HQ) has a team with the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure ride to raise money to find a cure for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
My father has suffered from Type 2 Diabetes and struggles every day to keep it balanced. Last year he passed out while driving and ran through a red light going 50 mph and had a head on collision. luckily everyone was alright, but this just shows that even after 30+ years of managing this disease anything can happen.
I'm sure that someone you know or love has been affected with this disease, and I ask you to help fight for them!
The ride is on June 14th in Aurora and begins and ends at Two Brothers (brewery) Roundhouse.
This year my wife and I are raising money to reach our goal of $200 each, in order to participate in the event and support this great cause!
I know the home brewing group is very supportive, and I ask you to please donate so that one day we may find a cure for this disease. Diabetes affects more then 29 million people and touches the lives of many children, who on average, are diagnosed at age 6 for Type 1.
