Hi all,

Just started my 1st ever home-brew; 2x2l pop bottles of (what I hope will become) apple wine with balloon air-locks and bread-yeast! :)

I had visions of being able to drink the stuff in a month - a home-brewing friend of mine has told be that (once it has fermented) I'll have to syphon it, let it stand for 3 MONTHS and then leave it in bottles for ANOTHER TWO :eek:

In the meantime I've decided to start a new batch every month - that should leave me with 4 fermenting, & 4 clarifying at any one time (which I have room for) and (eventually) give me 6 bottles a month! sounds non-too shabby (once I get over the initial wait...)
