I am making Yooper's oatmeal stout. not paying attention to the recipe, I put 10 ounces of chocolate malt into the mill. the recipe call for 10 ounces of chocolate pale malt and only 2 ounces of chocolate malt. anyways, here's the recipe:

7 lbs Pale Malt Maris Otter
1 lb. flaked oats
12 oz Victory malt
10 oz chocolate (pale) malt
8 oz flaked barley
8 oz black barley
8 oz Crystal 80L
2 oz chocolate malt
2 oz Williamette

British Ale II
mash at 156

will this change the flavor a lot. should I change the brew day from 5 gallons to 10 & adjust the other malts?

It will change it a bit, but not alot. Chocolate malt is a little roastier and a little harsher than the pale chocolate, but you probably won't notice too much of a difference overall.

thanks. Should I add extra amounts of the other ingredient or just leave them as is? I know in the end it will be drinkable beer.
