I've got a Winter Spiced ale sitting in my secondary. Been there 2 weeks, and recipe calls for up to 4 weeks. My question is, being it is still Fall and I'm fresh out of pumpkin ale, I was thinking of brewing up another batch of pumpkin. Problem is, I only have one keg. If i put the Winter ale in there in 2 weeks, I would have to bottle the pumpkin. Do you think there is any harm in just letting the winter ale sit for around 5-7 weeks more in the secondary until the i have room again in the keg? Yes, I know......get more kegs! I'm working on it!

If it's in a reasonably temperature stable place, and the airlock stays full, no problem whatsoever.

If your sanitation is good you can let this beer sit in secondary for months. The only problem you may run into if you let is secondary too long is so much yeast will fall out you won't have enough to carbonate the beer but since you are kegging, you force carbonate and it won't matter.
