Bah, I'm tired...Dog got hit by car yesterday, he's ok now, just gotta go pick up some pain meds for him.

Had a bunch of homebrew bavarian hefeweizens last night while we both sat on the couch and relaxed. Feeling nice and fresh today.

Anyway, the cure for a hangover is simple...
18g IV cath
1000 ml normal saline
and if you're feelin' bad, a nice big shot of D50

Works everytime :rockin:

Halloween party. Dressed up like a bavarian dude in lederhosen and carried a 24oz stein I kept filled.

Apfelwein made using Nottingham, brown sugar, and pumpkin spice. It is an abomination, and makes you feel way worse than regular AW. I will never make this agin, I'm just drinking it because I can't bring myself to throw it out.

Not hungover but...Sierra Celebration, Heineken, Warsteiner, Sierra Harvest. Went from great to bad and back to great. The chatting mofos know what I'm talkin bout...

Not hung over, but I bought my first sixer of Anchor Steam Beer.. It was alright, something about twist off caps turns me off but once I let the head settle it was a mighty tasty brew. Though if it would have been the Sam's Oktoberfest I would have done two sixer's :D

Found a local supermarket that has a few shelfs worth of non-mainstream beers.. Stuff from around the way, what I like best is they have various styles.. So it may not be the BEST representation of said style but I can try different things..

Today i am hungover from 4 sudafed (i'm sick) and about 3/4 of a 5th of whiskey. I am hurting this morning. Cant really do much and i have to drive up to Seattle in a couple of hours! Oh no!!!!

Last night the wife and I tried American Honey by Wild Turkey and watched Shaun of the Dead. Man, you have to be careful with that stuff. It is so smooth and yummy you can get carried away. Anyway, two glasses each and the room was definitely spinning for both of us. We both drank a lot of water (plus using a few other hangover eliminating techniques) and the this morning the pain was manageable.

On a side note, if any of you HAVE NOT seen "Shaun of the Dead" or "Hot Fuzz" go out tonight and rent them. They are hilarious and are not to be missed.

Casey

I haven't been hungover in a few weeks....it's amazing what a busy work schedule will do to you...especially when you have to wake up at 6 everyday, and you are so not even remotely used to it

Feeling ok now, but it was just a little rough getting moving this morning. Nothing a bowl of oatmeal, a glass of OJ, and plenty of coffee didn't fix.

Watching my Seahawks destroy the Niners last night I enjoyed two large slices of pizza from Pequouds, one of my favorite Chicago pizza joints and knocked back:

2 12 oz. bottles of homebrewed Alpha King APA clone.
1 12 oz. bottle of Stone IPA
1 22 oz. bottle of Two Brothers Cane & Ebel
1 12 oz. bottle of homebrewed Rogue Blakend Brutal Bitter clone.
1 12 oz. bottle of Goose Island Harvest Ale

Last night I went out w/ swmbo for my birthday dinner. BW3's for hotwings and beer... cool. I went for the newcastle tall and more wings than I should have. I was going to wimp out and get the medium sause on the wings but figured what the hell I go hot. I'm not sure how many I had, but I can tell you that Newcastle has a certain fire retardant quality to it.

This morning my head was hurtin' from the after affects of the beer, I'm just waiting to feel the hurt from the after affects of the wings.
:drunk:

Damn other night I went to a comedy club and guzzled down 12 New Castles, didn't feel anything the day after.. I love NC.. Think I'm doing wings for breakfast.

From being up with my son at 12am then getting up at 4:30am for the day...daughter, wife and dog sleeping soundly of course.

Tonight I'm gettin' my homebrew on though...
