To Use heat or gas

I have a 20 gal blichmann boilermaker that has a 5500 watt low density HE installed 1/4 from the bottom. I plan on making 10 gal -15 gal batch. Should Modify my boilermaker for a HLT to use electronic temp control for a HERMS or will it work great to boil 10-15 gal of water??

This is a new All-grain setup.
