Hello brewers !

I'm brewing a light lager today, hopefully not far away from a mexican style.

In my receipt (which I don't know where I got) it says:

30.9 % Flaked Corn
29.0 % Pilsnermalt
8.1 % Carapils
5.4 % Flaked Wheat
21.8 % White Sugar
4.7 % Light DME

I never saw a receipt with this much sugar.

Do You think I should reduce it ?

Thank You in advance for Your answers.

Hopefully the white sugar is Dextrose! I would never use sucrose as my dry sugar.

21% dextrose is certainly going to produce a very dry, light beer. So, if you are shooting for a VERY light beer with little flavor, you have the correct recipe. You also fail to mention any hops.... You should have at least 1-2 oz of Sazz or Hallertauer
