Howdy!

My thoughtful wife decided that I should get some brewing equipment for Christmas. And she knew that I'd want to research it and put together my own setup. So, here I am.

I'm still in the info gathering stage, but I'll be sure to post something when I've made some decisions. I'll try to list out what I'm getting and why.

And I'm bet you'll see some questions from me along the way.

Welcome Merry,
Good luck getting set up. I'll save my suggestions, you're probably way ahead me. I will say don't over think it just jump right in you'll learn a ton along the way.

Welcome Aboard!

One of the best ways to get on the right track is to read the "Sticky" threads in the beginner forum. Don't be afraid to ask questions there either. If you have specific questions about something, you can look through the forums to find the right area to ask questions. Or.... you can also find a lot of information by using the search fuction as well.

Glad to have you with us. Don't be shy!

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to search for other threads about starter equipment. You're sure to find some suggestions for stuff you didn't think of. I'd also suggest buying a copy of How to Brew by John Palmer.

Hi, just joined up today but have been lurking for a while. Did some extract some 40 years ago and decided to get back into brewing. Thanks to all that have gone before, for the great information.
